Ms. Bhutto has challenged the new laws made by the Musharraf regime debarring her from contesting and holding any party post. The petition filed in the Sind High Court would now come up for hearing on August 27. It is believed that the `essential nomination papers' on behalf of Mrs. Bhutto, who lives in self-exile in Dubai, were submitted with the Larkana District Returning Officer. Many local party leaders and office-bearers marched to the office of the RO in solidarity with the former Prime Minister.
