Letters to the Editor
Sir, I had to board the Howrah Mail on August 30 to Chennai at Anakapalli, which comes under the South-Central Railway zone. The passengers were confused as the coach numbers were not displayed outside the coaches. We got into some compartment and, then, shifted to the one allocated to us. We approached the TTE about the inconvenience caused to us. He blamed the authorities of the South-Eastern Railway from where the train started. Whatever the zone, unless all railway employees work in an integrated manner, the Railway Minister's promise to provide safety and comfort to passengers will only remain on paper.
