On September 16, Mr. Sinha and Mr. Haq would be part of the SAARC Ministers group which will discuss South Asian matters. The meeting is of some interest, because it will, perhaps, be the only one in New York where an Indian and Pakistani Minister will be at the same table. As of now, both countries have ruled out any bilateral "sideline meetings'' in New York. According to SAARC sources, a tradition has now been set that Foreign Ministers meet on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly.
