Blasts on rail tracks

PATNA Sept. 12. Barely two days after the Rajdhani Express derailed near Rafiganj, two blasts rocked the tracks near Rajla village in Bihar's Jamui district last night, shortly after the 2305 up Howrah-Delhi Rajdhani Express had crossed.

Railway sources said no damage was caused to the track or the train.

A report from Ahmedabad says an accident involving the Karnavati Express was averted following timely detection of a minor rail fracture near Vapi in Gujarat today. — PTI, UNI
