Nagappa's family threatens dharna

By Our Staff Correspondent

KOLLEGAL (C'Nagar Dt.) SEPT. 13. The family members of the abducted former Minister, H. Nagappa, have threatened to stage a dharna at Kollegal from Monday if the Government fails to halt the STF operations against the forest brigand, Veerappan.

The sources in the family told The Hindu today that pamphlets regarding the dharna had already been printed and that they would go ahead with their plans if the Government did not give an assurance in writing that the operations would be stopped.
