Modi's remarks against Muslims flayed

NEW DELHI SEPT. 14. The All India Muslim Majlis-E- Mushawarat (AIMMM) has condemned the Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi's "intimidatory fulminations'' against the Muslim community and asked the Centre to take the matter seriously.

The AIMMM also urged the Human Rights Commission, the National Commission for Minorities and the Election Commission to take a serious note of Mr. Modi's remarks, the AIMMM president, Syed Shahabuddin, said in a statement here. — PTI
