Three militants entered the office-cum-residence of Mr. Mohammad and opened fire. "Three men came at around 6.30 p.m. and wanted to discuss something about the computers with my father,'' Mr. Mohammad's daughter told The Hindu. As soon as they entered his room, they opened fire. While he received bullet injuries on his hand, his bodyguard was shot in the legs. Both were rushed to hospital. They were out of danger, according to doctors. No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the attack.
