By B. Muralidhar Reddy

ISLAMABAD Sept. 18. Pakistan tonight said law enforcement agencies in Karachi had apprehended seven terrorists in a raid conducted at different locations in the city.

An official statement said that based on reports provided by Pakistan intelligence agencies, law enforcement agencies conducted a raid from 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. during which they arrested `seven most wanted terrorists'. A large quantity of arms and ammunition were also recovered.

``One of the apprehended terrorists is suspected to have masterminded the attack on a bus near the Sheraton Hotel in Karachi a few months ago. All those arrested are Pakistanis and are being interrogated to ascertain which organisations they belong to.'' The reference is to the attack on 12 French engineers and technicians working on a Pakistani naval project in the port city. They were staying at the Sheraton Hotel.
