Jayalalithaa's offer in court

NEW DELHI SEPT. 19. The `TANSI case' in the Supreme Court today took a new turn, with the senior counsel for the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Jayalalithaa submitting that she was willing to surrender the property to the Government even tomorrow.

K.K. Venugopal made this submission to a two-judge bench during the hearing of the appeals against the judgment of the Madras High Court acquitting Ms. Jayalalihtaa of all charges.
