Patient jumps to death

Chennai Sept. 20. A patient, undergoing treatment at the Government Royapettah Hospital, jumped to his death from the third floor of the hospital on Thursday evening.

Police identified the patient as Jagadeesan (45). He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit on September 15 for consuming poison in an attempt to commit suicide. He was moved to the general ward yesterday. Following a wordy duel with his mother, Jagadeesan jumped from the third floor and died of injuries.
