Dubai Sept. 24. A delegation of senior Indian officials is to visit Saudi Arabia to finalise the details of next year's Haj agreement with the Saudi authorities. The delegation, which arrives tomorrow, is led by Kamaluddin Ahmed, member, Planning Commission. It will also include officials from the Ministries of External Affairs and Civil Aviation and the Central Haj Committee (CHC), an Indian diplomat said.

Syed Akbaruddin, Consul-General, said in Jeddah that the talks with the Ministry of Haj would finalise the number of Indian pilgrims who will perform the Haj next year, the norms to be followed in selecting the accommodation, dates for the arrival and departure of pilgrims and other related issues. He said 1,17,000 Indians had performed the last Haj in February. — UNI
