Letters to the Editor
Sir, The speeches of the Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi during his `gaurav yatra' prove that his views are biased. They clearly show his hatred for the minorities. He has said that poverty in the State was a direct result of such `breeding' and had warned that they needed to be taught a lesson. It is quite mystifying that the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, approved of Mr. Modi's communal tactics. J. John, New Delhi
