Raunaq Singh dead

New Delhi Sept. 30. Noted industrialist and founder-chairman of the Rs 2,700-crore Apollo Group, Raunaq Singh, died here today following a heart attack. The 80-year-old business icon, who stepped down from the Chairmanship of the Group only a fortnight ago, died at 01.15 a.m. Singh, whose life presented a rags-to-riches tale, is survived by his wife, four sons and a daughter. — PTI
