Patna, Oct. 1. Disruption of rail and road traffic, dharnas and demonstrations marked an otherwise peaceful State-wide bandh called by the Left parties to protest, among other things, the "deteriorating" law and order in Bihar. While the bandh failed to evoke much response in Gaya, Jehanabad, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Vaishali, Sitamarhi, Aurangabad and Patna districts, it had a good impact in Left-dominated belts in Begusarai, Samastipur and Khagaria.
