Curfew was relaxed till noon amid tight security. People moved about buying their daily needs as well as requirements for festivities. But, sources in Solapur said, "they kept looking over their shoulders all the time. It was peace with a touch of tension in the air", for, despite the curfew since Friday, there were incidents of violence and arson in some areas.
