8 injured in Gujarat blast

GANDHINAGAR Oct. 16. In yet another bomb blast, at least eight persons have been injured, two of them seriously, at the Lunawada State Transport bus station in Panchamahals district in central Gujarat this evening.

Police said the blast was similar to the one at the Godhra bus terminus yesterday in which six persons were injured. The bomb exploded within minutes after the bus halted at the Lunawada terminus.

The injured were admitted to the Godhra civil hospital. The condition of two of them was stated to be critical.
