Kerala
By Our Special Correspondent
Replying to questions at a news conference here today, Mr. Mukundan said the BJP did not consider the Sena in Kerala part of the all India Shiv Sena and that there was so far no demand from the national party to include the Sena in Kerala in the NDA. He, however, clarified that the BJP had decided to include the Indian Federal Democratic Party (IFDP), led by P. C. Thomas, MP, as a constituent of the NDA in the State. A directive in this regard had been received from the party national leadership, he disclosed. Asked about the formation of Bajrang Dal in Kerala recently and whether it would not affect the strength of the BJP, Mr. Mukundan said, ``if you run a tea shop and somebody else does the same, people would go to the one that serves quality stuff''. When told that the question was whether the sprouting of organisations claiming part of the Sangh Parivar would not affect the BJP shop, he said it need not be so. He reiterated the BJP position that the SNDP Yogam would have the moral support of the party in its fight.
