U.S. spy plane crashes in Pak.

ISLAMABAD OCT. 17. An unmanned U.S. spy plane crashed today in Sind province in southern Pakistan just after it took off from a military air base.

According to reports reaching here, the plane took off from Jacobabad air base and crashed soon afterwards.

Engine failure has been cited as the cause.

Jacobabad is one of the air bases in Pakistan being used by the United States for its operations in Afghanistan.
