HC drops proceedings

MUMBAI OCT. 17. Accepting an unconditional apology from actress Manisha Koirala and producer Shashilal Nair, the Mumbai High Court today discharged contempt notices against them for taking their row over objectionable scenes in the film `Ek Choti Si Love Story' to a third person.

The judges, however, dismissed Manisha's appeal looking at her conduct of taking the matter to the Shiv Sena chief, Bal Thackeray, to mediate, despite the matter being sub-judice.
