Tension over Dalits' lynching

CHANDIGARH OCT. 17. Additional forces have been deployed and an alert sounded in Jhajjar district of Haryana following the lynching of five Dalits by a mob, even as police officials said today that the situation was ``tense but under control.''

A special team had been constituted to probe the incident but no arrest had been made so far, the Jhajjar SP, Mohammad Akil, said.
