Sir, — Thanks to the Indian initiative, along with vital support from Nigeria and Botswana, Pakistan has been kept out of the Commonwealth.

Although the benefit of being in the Commonwealth is debatable, the elections held in Pakistan must not be legitimised under any circumstance.
