Mr. Naidu said that if candidates for all the 187 seats could not be finalised in a day, the meeting could be extended for another day. The meeting is expected to be held at the residence of the Prime Minister, Atal Behari Vajpayee. Both Mr. Vajpayee and the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, are members of the committee, which is chaired by the party president. Mr. Naidu today rejected the view that if a change was made in the constituency of the Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, who currently represented Rajkot II, it was significant or a pointer to the BJP's nervousness. ``Mr. Advani may not contest from Gandhinagar the next time (when the Lok Sabha elections are due),'' Mr. Naidu said, and noticing surprise on the faces of journalists he added: ``(the Congress president) Sonia Gandhi contested from Amethi and Bellary the last time.''
