Aavin extends date for milk cards sale

CHENNAI Nov. 11 . The Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation (Aavin) has announced that the sale/renewal of milk cards for consumers at the offices and milk cooperatives has been extended up to November 14 (from the normal date of 12th every month) in view of rain and inclement weather.

Arrangements have been made for abundant supply for bulk sale of Aavin milk upto 7 a.m. in all depots. An Aavin release said resident associations and consumer groups were welcome to witness the operations of the milk processing plants and hygienic way of preparation of milk and milk products. Any other information for customers would be available round the clock at the Consumer Service cell in Chennai (Ph: 4358033 and 4332383).
