By Our Special Correspondent
Mr. Naidu termed Kaloji's life exemplary and his fight for the oppressed and marginalised sections a shining example. All his works reflected his commitment to the society and in his death, the State had lost a leading light, he said. The Governor, C. Rangarajan, said he was deeply grieved and said the well known poet in Telugu, Urdu, Hindi and Marathi roused the patriotic zeal among the masses. Many organisations and political parties and institutions expressed grief. The CPI and the CPI-M, CPI-ML New Democracy, Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Telangana Rashtra Samithi, Praja Rachayithala Samakhya, PDSU, AP Teachers Federation, Praja Shakti Book House, former Union Minister, G.Venkata Swamy and chairman of the AP State Cultural Council, C. Narayana Reddy, paid glowing tributes to Kaloji in separate statements.
