Homage paid to Sankaradas Swamigal

Pondicherry Nov. 13. Stage artistes and Tamil scholars paid tributes to noted Tamil playwright, Sankaradas Swamigal on the occasion of his 80th death anniversary here today.

A procession was taken out to the Samadhi of the Swamigal in Karuvadkuppam. Representatives of Tamil litearary and art associations and officials of the Department of Art and Culture paid floral tributes to the playwright. A team of artistes presented a drama recital, `Baktha Prahaladha'.
