Plea to SHRC

LUCKNOW NOV. 16. In a letter to the State Human Rights Commission, dissident Uttar Pradesh BJP MLAs have complained about the "inhuman treatment" being meted out to the independent MLAs, Raghuraj Pratap Singh and Dhananjay Singh, lodged in Banda and Jhansi jails.

"The copy of the letter has also been sent to the National Human Rights Commission on November 14 last," the spokesman of the dissidents, Ramashish Rai, said here today. — PTI
