Shasun gets through 5th FDA audit

CHENNAI: The Cuddalore facility of Shasun Chemicals & Drugs has once again gone through a successful U. S. FDA audit of three active pharmaceutical products, Ranitidine, Nizatidine and an anaesthetic drug. Five clients in the U. S. who have filed their ANDA's for supplies of these products triggered the inspection. A U. S. company has filed various new formulation applications of Nizatidine such as paediatric and injectable based on bulk active of Shasun, according to a company release.
