G-20 nod likely for publication of reform effect studies

NEW DELHI NOV. 22. The Group of 20 (G-20) Finance Ministers are likely to endorse the publication of case studies of globalisation and its effect on poverty and inequalities in their respective countries, along with a synthesis paper summarising the experience, lessons and challenges before them.

A final decision will be taken at the Ministerial-level meeting here tomorrow. Today's meeting was attended by the deputies of the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors.

Dimensions of sovereign debt restructuring mechanism being developed by the IMF as one of the ways and options to resolve a sovereign debt crisis were discussed.
