Call for stability in Central Asia

By Vladimir Radyuhin

MOSCOW NOV. 23. The Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) vowed to promote stability in Central Asia and voiced concern over growing links between terrorism and separatism in Asia. In a joint communiqué issued after a one-day meeting in Moscow on Saturday the Council of Foreign Ministers of the SCO also called for providing a more solid legal basis for the fight against terrorism, including an early adoption of a universal convention against terrorism and a convention against acts of nuclear terrorism.
