``We are ready to meet any eventuality... with additional paramilitary forces and Rapid Action Force deployed in all sensitive districts,'' the Additional Director-General of Police (Law and Order), Vikram Singh, said here today. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has given a call to celebrate the day as ``Shaurya Diwas'' while the Babri Masjid Action Committee has decided to observe it as ``a day of sorrow''. A senior police officer said there were some reports, corroborated by the Intelligence Bureau, that terrorists might target the make-shift temple at the Ram Janmabhoomi complex or any part of the twin cities of Ayodhya and Faizabad. Security has been tightened in the twin cities with no vehicular traffic being allowed inside Ayodhya since this morning. The traffic has been rerouted through the national highway. No outsider would be allowed to enter Ayodhya on December 6. In Mumbai, police have taken extensive security measures as December 6 would also see Ambedkarites from all over Maharashtra converging on the Chaityabhoomi for his 46th death anniversary. The Mumbai Police chief, M.N. Singh, has held a series of meetings with senior policemen and intelligence officers to chalk out a security plan for the next few days. PTI, UNI
