Maintain peace: Krishna

Bangalore Dec. 8. Expressing shock over the death of the former Minister, H. Nagappa, the Karnataka Chief Minister, S.M. Krishna, tonight said this ``diabolical'' incident should ``strengthen our hands to end the menace of the forest brigand Veerapan once for all''.

In a statement issued here, Mr. Krishna, who is rushing here tomorrow from Delhi, said the tragic death of Nagappa, who was in Veerappan's captivity since August 25, was ``distressing''.
