Public Prosecutor, Muthappa Rai, had not raised any objections to the release of Mr. Mani on Saturday when the third additional sessions judge, Munnoli, posted the case for hearing today. However, two advocates, Shivannegowda, and Ramakrishna had filed objections to Mr. Mani being released on bail, contending that the abduction of Nagappa was a ``ploy'' by Veerappan to secure the release of Mr. Mani.
