LS to discuss disinvestment next week

NEW DELHI DEC. 12. The Lok Sabha would have a discussion on the disinvestment policy of the Government next Wednesday.

The Opposition parties and some constituents of the NDA had earlier this week announced the decision to demand a debate on the issue which was finalised by the Business Advisory Committee today.

The Rajya Sabha would have a discussion on the mid-term review of the economy based on the report to Parliament last week on the same day.

The Committee also decided that the Lok Sabha would resume discussion on the internal security situation on Tuesday. The House began discussion on the subject today.
