Violence in Vadodara

Vadodara Dec. 24. Violence erupted in the sensitive Navapura area of the city tonight leaving several people injured in stone-throwing between members of two communities. Police lobbed teargas shells to bring the situation under control. The violence, which started at around 9.20 p.m. at Mehboobpura, soon spread to the Ansari and Mali Mohallas localities, police sources said, adding that the cause of violence was not known.
