Kargil airport for Defence Ministry

JAMMU DEC. 27. The Union Government has decided to hand over the Kargil airport to the Defence Ministry because of its proximity to Pakistan border and vulnerability to cross-border shelling, the Civil Aviation Minister, Shahnawaz Hussain, said here today.
