Prithvi launch put off again

Balasore (Orissa) Dec. 28. The launch of the indigenously-developed Prithvi missile from the Interim Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur-on-Sea, which was re-scheduled for today, was postponed for the second time in the last two days because of some technical problem in its sub-system, sources said.

They refused to divulge the nature of the problem or as to when the surface-to-surface missile would be test-fired again.
