IUML for strict action against VHP

NEW DELHI JAN. 1. E. Ahamad, IUML general secretary, today called on the Prime Minister, A.B. Vajpayee and sought stringent action against the Sangh Parivar, particularly the VHP. Reacting to Mr. Vajpayee's musing, Mr. Ahamad said those propagating Hindutva "were actually spread hatred against other communities''.

"Now that the Prime Minister has endorsed the view expressed by the rest of the leaders against the practitioners of Hindutva , its time he acted against them,'' he added.
