"Only Ayodhya on BJP's agenda"

New Delhi Jan. 2. The BJP today asserted that the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya was on the party's agenda and not Kashi and Mathura as claimed by the Uttar Pradesh unit president, Vinay Katiyar.

``The construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is on the party's agenda but it would be done either on the basis of a court verdict or consensus among all concerned parties,'' the party spokesman and general secretary, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told reporters here.

To a question as to whether the party concurred with the view of Mr. Katiyar that Kashi and Mathura should also be taken up by the party, Mr. Naqvi said ``these two are not on the party's agenda.''
