New leader will be found: Togadia

CUTTACK JAN. 4. The VHP's international general secretary, Praveen Togadia, said here today that if the present leaders at the Centre cannot prevent attacks on temples, they should take sanyas ``and go to Ayodhya and chant Lord Ram's name.'' ``We will find a new leader.''

Mr. Togadia said neither the BJP nor the Congress could provide an answer to jehad, only a Hindu rashtra could. He criticised leaders of political parties who held that terrorists had no religion. Terrorism sponsored by Pakistan was the new challenge before the nation.

Pakistan could be destroyed if 90-crore Hindus united. ``We can chant Jai Sriram on the chest of (Pakistan President Pervez) Musharaf." Activists of the Ambedkar-Lohia Vichar Manch staged a dharna in the State capital against the visit of the VHP leader. They displayed banners asking Mr. Togadia to go back.
