CISF to protect VIPs

NEW DELHI JAN. 5. The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) would soon start providing protection to the VIPs currently guarded by commandos of the elite NSG, ITBP and other forces. At least three CISF battalions, comprising around 3,000 personnel, had been earmarked for receiving special training for the purpose, sources in the force told PTI here today.
