Charges framed in Red Fort attack case
New Delhi
Jan. 7.
More than two years after the attack on Army personnel at the Red Fort, a Delhi court today framed charges against the Lashkar-e-Taiba militant and Pakistani national, Ashfaq Ahmad, his Indian wife and nine others.
The Additional Sessions Judge, M. S. Sabharwal, after reading out the charges, said there were prima facie evidence against the accused to prosecute under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), the Arms Act and the Explosive Substances Act. UNI
