It all happened on December 25 morning when the girl arrived in Delhi by a Frankfurt flight with her parents. She was missing while her father, Ranjeet Singh, had gone to buy a bus ticket for Connaught Place. Mr. Singh lodged a complaint at the airport police station. During initial investigations, the police recovered some Chennai-based phone numbers from Hardeep's belongings. Her parents also revealed that she was in touch with a person in Chennai through Internet. The police zeroed in on some addresses in Chennai and sent a team there. It traced the girl who had been staying with Navendu Sanrexa. The girl, who had been pursuing a course in nursing at Frankfurt, came in contact with Navendu through the Internet.
