Hearing put off

NEW DELHI JAN. 8. The hearing on the bail application of the Kashmir Times journalist, Iftikhar Gilani, has been postponed to January 17 pending completion of the lower court's proceedings on January 13.

The Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ved Prakash Vaish, said in his order today that since the Government had rejected the Military Intelligence's opinion, the hearing was adjourned to await the outcome of the lower court which had summoned the Director-General Military Intelligence, O. S. Lochab, and the Joint Commissioner of Police, Neeraj Kumar, in this regard.
