Actress appears in court

MUMBAI JAN. 13. Film actress Sonali Bendre today appeared before a court and urged the magistrate not to take cognisance of a criminal complaint filed against her and three others in a case of alleged obscenity.

Ms. Bendre appeared before the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, R.D. Gate, along with her producer-husband, Goldie Behl. Her lawyers, Srikant Bhatt, Ashok Shahani and Dharmendra Rohra, filed an application urging the magistrate to reject the complaint and refuse to take cognisance because of technical lapses.
