Militant killed in encounter

AHMEDABAD JAN. 13. An alleged activist of the Lashkar-e-Taiba claimed to be plotting the assassination of the Deputy Prime Minister, L.K. Advani, the Gujarat Chief Minister, Narendra Modi, and the international general secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Praveen Togadia, has been killed in a police encounter in Naroda locality on Sunday night.
