Talking to presspersons here today, he said the anti-conversion law enacted by the Tamil Nadu Government was oppressive. The All India Sadbhavna-Shanthi Caravan would be a voice against bigotry and fanaticism. Syed Hamid, president of the Caravan, said the Caravan would do door-to-door campaign for communal harmony. There was a misconception among people about other religions and they feared that the country was going the "fascist" way. Since people's support for the Caravan was high, subgroups would be set up.
