Pak. may retaliate

By B. Muralidhar Reddy

ISLAMABAD JAN. 22. Pakistan today denounced the expulsion of two of its diplomats and two officials by India. The Pakistan Foreign Office spokesman, Aziz Ahmed Khan, said, "this will further vitiate the atmosphere in the region."

Pakistan would "deliberate" upon a response. Implied in this was the hint that in a tit-for-tat action Islamabad would retaliate.

He rejected as "absolutely rubbish" accusations that the diplomats who had been ordered to leave India had been spying.
