Fire at Vaishnodevi

Jammu Jan. 23. The historic Vaishnodevi temple was partially damaged in a fire on Wednesday but the idols were safe, police sources said today. The fire was noticed in the temple in Poonch town by a `chowkidar' who immediately informed the police and the fire brigade.

The flames were brought under control within an hour.
