CBI questions Amar Singh

NEW DELHI JAN. 23. In a sudden move, the CBI today questioned the Samajwadi Party leader and Rajya Sabha member, Amar Singh, in connection with the Flex Industries scam.

The CBI arrested the Flex Industries Chairman, Ashok Chaturvedi, and a top Indian Revenue Service official, Someshwar Mishra, in November 2001 for alleged bribery. Sources said Mr. Singh was also one of the directors of the company.
