The protest was against the recent cow slaughter incident at Ganj Basoda in Vidisha district, near here, on January 14. Ms. Bharti said the Chief Minister would face a unique form of protest. It would not consist of BJP workers but herds of cows that shall block his way wherever he went. The BJP would continue to fight against cow slaughter even if it got branded as communal. Targeting the Chief Minister on his assertion that "BJP's Hindutva would be opposed by Bhartiyata'', she said that there was no difference between "Hindutva'' and "Bhartiyata''. Ms. Bharti sought a CBI probe into the Ganj Basoda riots sparked by the cow slaughter incident on January 14. She also alleged that the BJP men had been wrongly implicated and arrested. If the Chief Minister turned down the demand for a CBI probe, it would mean that he was also involved in the Ganj Basoda riots, she added.
